![]() This is a simple on/off switch for the fog lamps, I will wire them up and make the switch on the empty hole plastic thing pictured. I will need to beef up the switch mount plastic plate because it seems flimsy. |

Good idea to use a relay too. Those fogs draw quite a bit of juice. Looking good.

![]() I sprayed the metal with some paint but I tried to keep it small just incase the wing had to come off. ![]() I used 3M high hold foam composite outdoor double side adhesive to help hold the wing on. |

![]() I used Popsicle sticks to add some material to the switch housing, also expanding the mount tangs should hold the switch into the dash spot tighter. |

![]() Got the lights all hooked up, this switch got a gold trimming and the solder was not working for some reason so all the joints are big blobby disappointments....oh well shrink wrap and tape if it fails guess it needed to be fixed any way. |

you need to switch a high current relay to operate the lights. that switch doesn't have contacts rated to handle the current. it might even catch on fire. the lights will probably pull about 8 amps each, 16 total. use a minimum of a 30 amp accessory relay. the 55 amp alternator is the largest output for an oem unit. if you want more power, do the cs130 alternator mod. |

You listening to this, Jato? t3ragtop isn't available for brain transplants. I'm sure he'd douse a fire extinguisher on you if you caught fire, but chances are, he'd be up to his knees in somewhere in Columbus. You certainly won't earn the dumbass of the year award. Coche and those guys with Lithium batteries in their glove boxes win that one. |
