I've had the large wiper switch in a geo, and honestly I like the small grabber screw much better than the titanic size wiper switch. Idk bout float, there be no water here :tumbleweed

So now I can pound on the dash in various places and it is super solid, not a single pice of plastic rattles. Sounds dead and heavy not hollow. I hope it's going to be a sweet quiet cool ride on the highway. New cam/head give little more power to haul the extra pounds around and make life easy stress free passing. I hope this car is plush, the KYB struts made the ride superb, the under body brace feel tight in the steering, responsive, stable, sway bars and poly bushings help the roll, that flat safe feel, turn with control and confidence even tho this car is heavy. I'm super happy with my ride right now. I can't wait for AC, it's going to make this so nice.

Today got the handicap plate for this car, being the care taker of my mom we use this car quite a bit, saves gas (vs our other vehicles) and now that it has AC she can ride in here with out getting sick from the heat. Wish I had a 4 door tho.

My only concern would be a fire under that dash, but the foam is from a mattress so it should come with anti fire material so that should be all right.

You do have a point about the fire hazard...but yea idk if mattress foam is retarted from fire. I do know great stuff foam is slightly fire retarted, and that foil stuff I use is fire resistant all home fires tho. Idk if this car goes up in smoke it won't last more than 30 seconds it will be just a body.

So let's get a time belt on here.

Since I don't like the full time cover, this sliver of a cover has the marks on it all I got to do is remove one bolt and slip my belt between the plastic :)

t-man, not repacing the brushes on your blower motor and then burying it under all that foam may come back to bite you in the ass. :P

Yea the blower was the only thing I left not glued in taped in. Because when I go to Utah my dad has a blower for me, just need that blower to survive 2 weeks and the AC charge testing, I'll keep it on the DL till it's replacement time. It's got foam around it bit not secured in just stuffed.

This pic so played havoc with my eyes. Thought there was a bucket sitting next to the car that I was seeing through the open door. Then I realized it wasn't on the other side of the door so maybe the pic was shot when the dash was out. Third look finally convinced my brain that it couldn't be a bucket, had to be a lid. Yeah, that's the ticket, it's a liiiiid. :smackface

Also, you might consider that open space is sometimes there to keep components cool and mattress foam is not really designed to be in contact with very hot items.

So here is how my Saturday went- 6 am got up went to my uncles house and we vac tested the AC system and charged it up after some trouble shooting the switch is faulty so we bypassed that. Got the AC system running and was blowing cold air at 39° at the vent, the compressor however was not kicking off it was in a continuous run, so we thought that possibly the sensor for the low/cut off was not working after some calling around I located the part and drove 30 mins to go get it, it was the wrong one any way it didn't fit because it was a R12 fitting....ok fine, we vac tested the system again charged and couldn't get it to go colder than 50° and loosing pressure. So we added oil with dye and tested again and it's now down to 45° with a cloudy sight bubble, contamination faulty dryer. So I ordered me up a new dryer and it will be here Tuesday. So I'll change the dryer and the valve that keeps the evap from Icing up. So I'm currently sitting at 45° air on a 100° day...lame had it at 39° ice cold but after messing around need a few more parts.
