![]() Nankang before ![]() Nankang after. Really pointless pictures but it is a good visual of how far I wore them down and they wore nice and flat. |

I used to run my tires down like that on my 93, until the tread separated and the tire exploded. Now I junk them when the tread is still visible for safety

Yea my tires don't have enough time to become rotted. The tires that are bald are leas than 1 year old. The new tires will be toast in 5-6 months |

Nice thread. I horse around in canyons with a nice suspension so I love my Michelin Defenders! How is the three tech head holding up? |

Oh it's so sweet, power is better than stock economy is...a little worse than stock. I want to say the engine has a bit more "roar" than it used to it was a great buy and the customer service was above the top and I still get support any time I ask my questions are responded to with answers and education, buying my 3 tec head was a great buy. The defenders you use are much better than the cheapo nankangs. The nankangs have a roll and slip to them under hard cornering. |

So today I'm sitting here at big o tire monkey place. Hope to get this vibration solved, car had had this vibration with the new tire/rims I suspect a bent rim but I'm not sure. So here I sit my car goes in the shop and hope to have the 4 wheels road force balanced so I can rule that out. If it's a bent rim I will have them swap rims and junk the bent rim. If it's something more I guess I need to clean my garage so I can actually work in there and fix the issue. I'm actually paying some one to work on my car...I never thought I would say it. Between working 7 days a week no space to work because garage is a construction zone and it being hot outside...we talkin 110°+ in the shade I have not worked on my car. So pay some one to do it |

So today it was only around 100° on my drive to work. I be cruisin round 80 or so and I start to see smoke or a haze coming from my vents but I didn't smell any thing no rubber no weird coolant or any smell. I stick my nose close to the vents and smell the air coming through and it smells like fresh rain or something...I'm thinking what? How can my car be making this misty haze and nothing is burning up. I feel the air coming directly from the vent and it is cold as ice and I mean cold it feels good refreshing ice bone chilling good. The settings I had it on were air from out side AC on and fan speed 2. Now am I up in the crazy train or is this possible for an air conditioner to make clouds in your AC system or is something broken. I har a video that I will upload from the weird event Massive puddle of water where I parked. http://youtu.be/ywRY_vfqJcI Link of clouds. Excuse the poor quality of my topic I'm at work and on my phone. |

![]() So today got ordered up a new face color, I got dark gray with white numbers and white LED back lights. So a dark gray and white will look good. Was 64 bucks but it think it will be worth the style points. I was going to do white but my car is not white and white would be like a sore thumb. Also changing to the 120 speedo because I've topped the 85 speedo many many times an I need a higher speed read out some times. Also the higher speed read out makes the car look less "flimsy" just my opinion tho. |

If all you're changing is the faces, that is not where 120mph would be located... |
