Thanks Linda. The reason I had to re paint the rims is because the balance over and over. The metal weights tore every thing up going on and coming off so many times. I sure don't hope these are not defective because Onlinetires.com will owe me big time. I will want 8 khumo tires as compensation.

Got rid of my old spare, had lots of tread left but it was just to old, was a 2002 so I trashed it for this newer 2010. Also updated my water and checked the hoses for rot. Got some fresh gloves and a large white plastic bag just incase something is dirty, or I need to lay on for what ever reason. I recomend every one have water and some items in the trunk. Check those spares, a flat spare or old spare will do you no good. Replace old tires every 5 years an spares every 7

Today being a day off I have done a few thing to my car. My belt was squealing appon start up so since I was out of adust ment, I took the alt bracket off and cut more bracket out so that way I can adjust the belt another 3/4 of an inch or so.

Second thing I got going on is the brake grind noise, pads are fine rotors are highly glazed and the grind is more of like your grinding your teeth together like 2 highly polished surfaces just not wanting to stick. Any way got the car jacked up and the engine idle in 1st gear with the angle grinder equipped with a flappy sander, as the rotor rotates I am able to break the glaze off. I should have taken a picture but the rotors were so shiny I could see my reflection in them.

Ok it's time for new brake lines and new calipers. I'm going to order or buy brand new ready to go ones. Also going to change brake lines to stainless steel in the front.

Got all the parts needed to do my cluster, white LEDs, new faces for colored fun, and the infamous 27k ohm resistor, I hope 1/4 watt is what I needed.

These are what I picked up I sure hope it's right.

Is it the 85 mph or the 120 mph? I currently have 85 mph one but I find more often I need to know how fast I'm going above 85 mph. That's why I got the 120 mph one

Dude, those pads have a major angle to the wear. Did you fix the sticking caliper when you did the pads?

:rocker yes I did thanks for keeping an eye out dude! I am looking into full new calipers and flex hose because it's probably time for them. But some cheap pads and rotors sanded down with brake fluid flush the brakes feel much better. I still want new parts tho

Yea trying to get the danger grinder in there under the car engine ON IN FIRST GEAR.... I was being so carefull, the entire situation had :shit :scared written all over it. But it was weird as I sanded there were no sparks just the smell of burning brakes after like 10 seconds of sanding then I got sparks, made me assume the glaze was thick on there. Remember my car is still equipped with small rotors and my car is heavier than probably any metro on here, so my brake system is taxed to the max, ican smoke the brakes easy coming off the free way exit. Down hill from 80 to 0 with that much load is insane amount of heat. That's why I change my brake fluid all the time because it burns up fast, burn pads out fast and smoke the rotors. I'll for sure be breaking glaze again soon. Probably when I get my new calipers.
