AI have a metallic 4 puck clutch disk. I was wondering if any one has used this kind of clutch disk? If so is it hard on flywheel and pressure plate I will post pictures of what I have. I got one of these from t3ragtop for my next project. I could not get my pictures to post. It is same flywheel and 4puck disk that t3ragtop posted on his gti vert . I put this one in my SVO a few years ago. I hated it at first! Being a solid hub and no cushion spring it took me a little getting used to but I kind of like it now. It's still doing great and acts better now that it has some miles on it. I have not had it apart to check it so I have no idea how everything looks. I say, do it!

Any feedback on using one of these to replace stock disc? Is it on/off or does it still slip a little? I have stage 2 comp clutch In my boosted civic it's still a full disc but heavy duty pressure plate and it chattered first 1500 miles it's getting. Little better but still clatters occasionally on down shift. Ideally i wouldn't want any clutch chatter in my Geo it's not a race car |
