On my G10 powered buggy I noticed the distributor vacuum canister has no hoses hooked up to it.. does it need to be hooked up to vacuum lines or can I just plug them? It does idle kind of rough and I was wondering if this had something to do with it.. You can see in the picture what I'm talking about

That needs to be hooked up to the proper vacuum source for your engine to run right. That will cause your engine to not perform like it should. That little buggy should really fly with the hp the Metro engine puts out.

lol It's not fast like the LS1 powered rails out in Glamis but the fun factor is definitely high up on the scale!👍 Well I guess I can use one of the vacuum ports off my Solex carb to run to the distributor.. Can I just run a tee fitting off the distributor ports to the vacuum port off the carb? Or do they need to run from different sources?

The vacuum comes from two different places. I'll check my 91 Metro tomorrow and see where.

Sorry about not getting back to you on this. The vacuum line that is farthest away from the distributer goes to intake manifold vacuum and the closest one goes to the base of the throttle body which should be port vacuum. I think that these would be very important to have right so your advance come in at the right time. Hope this helps you out.
