2000 Suzuki Swift G13BB Auto When I come to a stop and put my foot on the brake the engine rumbles and pulses for a few seconds like its hunting for an idle and then smooths out. Vacuum lines maybe?

Yes...check for vacuum leaks, not necessarily the booster, but the one way check valve could be bad... |

Okay, so I bought the little check valve and have run into a problem. My 4 cylinder g13bb does not appear to even have one, that or it is hidden quite well. I traced all the vacuum lines and do not see it anywhere. Found it on my 3 cylinder metro in 5 seconds but do not see it on my 4 cyl. Anyone know where it is on the G13BB? |

Yeah man, it's built into the hose that goes from the intake manifold to the brake booster. Don't believe me, take the hose, try to blow through it. Now flip it over, and try the other end. One way will not allow air to pass. That's your internally mounted brake booster check valve...in the hose about halfway through, you'll see a very faint bulge, that's it. If you try to squish it with your fingers, you will find it is very hard.

Oh g%$ dammit, of all the places they could put something. Inside a freaking tube, mehhhhhh Well at least I know where it is and how to reconfigure it to work. Thanks a bunch JADEDSL2, would have never thought that bump was the valve
