I have changed the throttle position sensor and the engine is still stuck wide open. |

Sounds to me like you replaced it with a TPS that was already stuck open(bad). I did that on a chevy truck and it come to be I bought a brand new(autozone) TPS that was already damaged, |

Check throttle cable adjustment and throttle plate closure clearance. |

my old 94 g10 had a bad idle speed motor [up graded emissions] when it went bad it went high idle 4 or 5000 dont remember. unplugged it and had to push the plunger back in. check idle speed motor, as said before check throttle cable. look over make sure nothing in nothing in side throttle. |
