Hey guys,

'94 metro, 3 cylinder with "Upgraded" emissions...
I am looking for the evaporative cannister purge solenoid valve thing... Mounts to the firewall...
Mine was fragged before I got it... Evap cannister straight lined into the manifold.. Not good for idle...

I am showing the following P/N's -
96062510
ACDelco 214-943

Anyone know where I can get one of these things... or is this junk yard only now...

Thanks

Anyone tried modifying newer ones so they go?
The one above looks like it might work - so long as the plug will fit..... I could probably modify the bracket to work....

Vac lines #6 & #8 go to the evap canister purge valve. Go pick one off a Geo at your local Pick-N-Pull. Probably cost a buck or two. It's only a solenoid and they rarely ever to out.

For a follow up...
I got a "CP220" on order.... This is used on a bunch of Suzuki/Geo models from 1998 on... Hose arrangement is nearly identical to the one shown on the post above.... Plug looks like it will fit per pix...

Should be coming in today or tomorrow.. Will post results when I get it in...

Thanks

Sha-Zam! Goes right in... Tube arrangement looks a wee bit different, but otherwise - it's a direct bolt - in...

Thanks
