How about using a hood pin. Singular. One pin in the middle of the hood? |

A litte dab of loctite or a self locking nut would also be a good idea, especially for those hard to reach places. Edited by idmetro, Nov 13 2013, 09:28 AM.

i used m6 a2 stainless steel serated flange nuts with blue loc-tite. i'm so tired of snapping rusty bolts and studs that i only use stainless hardware. every now and then i just replace nuts and bolts with new stainless nuts and bolts just so i won't have to fight with the hardware to do a job another day.
