In this picture is a tachometer from a 91 2 door very metro. http://miami.craigslist.org/mdc/cto/4192434997.html Will that fit in my 1993 3/5 hatchback. I know the tachometer wouldn't read the same rpms accurately but will it bolt up and plug up. I snagged one from a local pick in pull but I haven't gotten enough time To swap it so I want to ask first. |

No. This is what you want; preferably a 3-cylinder tach to begin with. 92-94 will be the best fit, if someone knows 95-01 will fit in a 93 please chime in. Picture borrowed from this thread: http://geometroforum.com/topic/4909536/1/

No, I don't. I bought mine from Brandywine Auto Parts in Md a long time ago. They ship. Ask if they've got a 92-94 3-cylinder and get the vin before buying; they tag each part with the original vin, which will tell you if it's 3 or 4 cylinder. You can cut holes in the thin pcb film and put extra lights in the new cluster, it's not that difficult (eg upshift indicator if it came from an automatic). Just salvage lights from your old cluster. There's also a couple clusters available at palooza, you should go (hint hint). |
