Alrighty,

see if I can describe this to you guys... The little arm thing on the side that makes the seat lean forward? It works great!!! But for some reason the seat back isn't attached to it anymore... I can move the seat into any position by hand... But it won't stay there, the seat just falls :shake what broke and how do I fix it? Short of getting another seat...

The seat back itself should be bolted to the hinge at its base, two screws each side I believe is normal for almost every car anymore. Sounds like one or two things occurred. The seat back broke (the metal frame inside of it anyway) or the screws broke. you can separate the upholstery at the bottom of the seat back, and slip it up over the seat back, and that will expose the foam underneath, and the frame at the corners. Check it out, and see for yourself what's going on in there.
