Dang nice work! I've found that body work is a series of technical adjustments. Looks like you nailed it. For paint, my logic is, and I'm no expert by far, the oe paint is a 2 stage. Color & clear. It made sense to stay with the same automotive grade system for touch up/panel painting. Then, when it comes time to paint the entire care, prep work will be reduced. Stripping the old old Rustolium grade, chalk board paint, or what ever awful stuff some use, would be an extreme production to say the least. Your car looks fine from here. Way to go after it.

yep probably a good idea that when i do paint it hit that sucker with a wire wheel and start fresh with self etching primer followed with high build primer sealer sand it down with some 300 grit hit it with a fresh coat of bc/cc let it dry in the garage . |
