![]() This dang metal attachment to open the the door keeps poping out every time I pull the handle. Just installed this new handle from ebay and can't get the metal thing that opens the door to stay in that white clip. Do I have it set to high or low or am I gunna have to put some putty on it to keep it there like it had on the old handle? |

Are you pushing it in far enough ? It should snap in and the two parts that stick down should hold it in there. But then again if it's one of them Chinese POS it may not hold. Also when you hook it up the door lock arm has to be on one side or the other. I can't remember which side without putting one together but you should be able to see if the lock rod is causing clearance problems. Ken....... Edited by 91 ragtop, Nov 26 2013, 07:18 PM.

I've drilled small holes and used a good fine wire to hold them in place. This is one of the reasons that I bought some OEM handles to try and sell on here. Ken.......... |

those chinese door handles are priced low but the quality is low along with them. if you can afford spend the 39.99 and get the oem quality handles. i got chinese handles on the rear doors and i hate them lol |
