Well it seems like the fluid is coming from where the axle goes in. Is this the tranny seal? I read somewhere that these are hard to come by fir the 5 speed. Where can i find it?
Axle shaft seal is the correct term.

Be sure to slide the new seal up on the axle and make sure it fits correctly before you install it only to find out it is not the right seal and leaks again.

It took a couple auto parts stores but finally napa had the one that fit. I payed my mechanic 40$ to put it in because we are experiencing ice and snow up in connecticut and thats no fun to work in without a garage. Im going to check tomorrow to make sure its not leaking because my mechanic said there was play in the axle.
Fingers crossed!

Wasn't a crazy amount... just as much play as the other side with new axle. Maybe that's how much play they're supposed to have.
