Fellas,
When I come to a stop and try to put it into first gear, it really has a hard time going in. I usually have to put it into 2nd, then into first. It usually takes a few tries.
Any ideas what the problem is and how to fix it?

Are you completely stopped when you try to engage it? Either way, there's a good chance your syncro is worn.
