Installed new clutch, pressure plate, resurfaced fly wheel and new throwout bearing. Haven't had it in there more than a month and it is slipping bad. Is there a chance I put inferior parts in there? Thanks!

Even the chessiest of parts should give you some service. How much pedal play?

Its possible that the flywheel was machined wrong, if both surfaces weren't taken down the same amount, You will have problems.

If you kept everything clean of grease and contaminates then I would likely go with Davids suggestion of flywheel issues.

I think as others here are saying... I would vote first for something preventing the clutch from grabbing all the way....

Like..
Oh..
Say not enough free play in the clutch cable.... There has got to be a wee bit of slack in the clutch cable or it will hold the clutch open....

So.. go check... Is there a teeny bit of slack in the clutch cable?

OP did say the pedal had 3/4 to an inch of play. Should double check the actual measurement at the clutch arm on top of the tranny as Old Man said. Did you follow the break in procedure for the clutch? If everything seems good then the only way you are going to figure it out is to pull it and inspect. May be evidence of the issue on the flywheel or the clutch may be glazed. If you just bought it from the parts store then it may be a bad clutch. I put one in from the parts store, broke it in properly, drove really easy for a week or so and when I went to drive normally it just spun. That glazed the disk and it was useless after that. Upgraded to a Spec stage 1 clutch and never had a problem through many burn outs and hard driving. It isn't currently in the car cause the engine I got had less than 60k miles and the factory clutch on that should be good for quite a while, but when it wears out the spec will go back in.
