Ok so I have a few questions first in the picture below. Is that the right spot for that metal black plate.

Second. Does anyone have any tips on attaching the speedometer cable back into the speedo

Third. I just installed my seats back in. Am I going to have to take them back out when I do a seatbelt upgrade to the 95+

I'm totally awesome! I swear.

I re-installed my dashboard assembly, just recently. The black support member looks to be correctly positioned.

To reconnect the speedo cable, disconnect it from the tranny and push several inches of "slack" into the firewall, then give the gauge cluster a reach-around while holding the cluster a few inches away from where it seats in the dash.

I don't believe you'll have to pull the seats to swap the seatbelts.

Yeah, what PTA2PTB said. I just did the belt swap on my '94. I thought the short female sections that bolt to the seat brackets would have to be swapped out too in order for the new belts to work. Nope, they work just fine without swapping them out. I would suggest grabbing the complete seat belt set though from the PnP yard, just in case... as you get charged for the complete set, and for some reason they don;t want to mate up, but they should. When pulling them from the 95+ car, I did find it easier to unbolt the seats to remove the female portions.

I replaced the female section of my driver side belt. Pulled a couple at the pnp, took the old one out and put the new on in without pulling any seats. Kinda tricky threading the seat belt wiring through the side of the seat, but it can be done without hurting anything if you want it bad enough.

As long as the car doesn't mind, the only worry would be that the Federal Vehicle Inspection Security Teams will come after you for being out of compliance ... :O :'( :shake :x

For your own good and, of course, ... for the children!!

:rofl :rofl
