It appears that my clutch cable just snapped, as I was heading to a job briefing. Coasted into a parking spot at the briefing place. Dead pedal, and I can pull on the end where it exits the front side of the lever on top of the transmission. Waiting on a change of clothes and tools to arrive. Joy. |

Kinda like what happened to me a couple months ago. Except it was the clutch arm that came off instead of the cable snapping. Good luck with it skate. |

They're super easy to replace. Hardest part is hooking the end up to the clutch pedal. Hope you're as flexible as I am... Glenn says take out the driver's seat. More room. |

I second the taking out of the drivers seat! A second set of hands helps too, although it can be done solo. |

You'll need a flashlight and a real long needle nose plier and it's a snap. If you have someone to help you have them hold the clutch end of the cable pushed in to give you slack on the inside. I take the seat out also. Ken......... |

I had a clutch cable snap in rush hour traffic in Phoenix while I was in the middle lane. Made it safely off the main road and waited for a hook. Wasn't a Metro, but it was just as inconvenient. |
