Car runs great. My first one finally. What a toy.. The front seats which are original and ok re fabric/condition. However, they cannot notch forward to put me in a more upright posture. I feel like I'm back on an angle. I've seen 2 others and it appears the same way. there are no "clicks" to adjust position. What is the fix or replacement seat from another type car so I can just bolt it in essentially or have the minimum hassle to make work ? I'd appreciate any help. I tried to read up on the topic but still not finding a straight answer. Vertcrazee@aol.com

one good way to search this subject is use Google, and type: geometroforum.com seat replacement As in my own $.02...I put Suzuki Esteem seats in my Verts, and personally like the support, but, you have to use the vert seat rails... good reading: http://geometroforum.com/topic/4305863/1/#new ...you could also use seats from a newer Metros or Suzuki Swifts, but again, you have to use the vert seat rails... |

i've done recarro from a volks GLI, acura integra, and honda del sol. i like them in that order. For some strange reason.... the del sol seats are not that comfy.... even though i put 150+k on a del sol and i liked them in it. The teg seats are really comfy and good support. i did have to modify brackets.... if you in the SE.... i got extra stock seats in fair to crappy shape.....cloth gud.... Sounds like no matter what I do I'll have to modify seat rails or some kind of creative adjustment. Nickb803, will get back to you. Really nice of you to offer seats. If I want to take you up no problem driving to the city you said, "L". |

Has anyone just drilled a hole in the mechanism at the base and run a pin through it so the seat is stationary but more upright? |

NickB, Are your 1993 hatch seats ones that click a notch or two to bring the back more upright and lock or are they like mine and just tilt forward with a singular position as the back pulls to a stop if brought back to the driving position? |

Ive had those seats. The driver side is is ratchet style- the passenger side is lift the lever, and the whole front cams over and almost meets the dash- for letting rear passengers in. I've not sat in my vert seats yet- so I don't know what you mean by lean. The interior will be one of the last things I do on mine. Also, changing seat rails isn't hard- I've done it- |

you can notch them forward like any other car seats. if you do want them i could meet you in lancaster or palmdale. i live all the way up past mojave ca. but i could come down to meet you one day that works for both of us. if you do decide you want them just pm me and we can set something up. i plan on moving in a few months and i know i would end up tossing them in the trash. id rather see them go to someone that could get good use from them. they are complete with the rails etc. if you want i can email or text you pics. |

Hi Nick, I just saw your post. I'd like to take you up on your offer. What are better days for you to go to Palmdale so I can coordinate. I am off Monday coming up as it is a government holiday. I am also off on the 24th of that(next) week (a Friday). Advise at your lesiure. Thanks, Larry |
