Hi! I really need some advice. My turn signals went out on my 90 geo and I'm pretty sure it's the flasher but I'll be damned if I can't find that sucker. Where could it be? I looked under the dash and craned my neck so I could see all the nooks and crannies and its not there. Any advice? |

Sticking out the top of the fuse box under the dash. Go here: FSM and see pg 8A11-0 Edited by clarkdw, Jan 10 2014, 01:12 AM.

Click on the header at the top of any page. Scroll down to the manuals section of the forum. There is a 94 and a 97 full FSM available for your viewing pleasure. The 94 has both the regular emissions like the earlier cars and the Cali emissions like the 94 and 95. You have to be signed in to go there. |

The flasher is just about at the center of the front (vehicle front) edge of the fuse panel on the top side where it is completely invisible. There are two clips, one on each side, that need to be properly squeezed to pull it out. That sucker will NOT shake loose!! It's built to stay. I would advise dropping the fuse panel (2 bolts, one each on the left and right edges) and pulling down the inboard edge so you can see it, but you practically need to work for Cirque de Soliel to get a good view of it, and heaven help you if you rely on bifocals!! I replaced my flasher with a heavy-duty towing flasher (Tridon EP-34 - any McParts store should carry it) because I have LEDs in my turn signals and the OEM flasher goes double time to show me it thinks I have a bulb out. I had to trim the little tab off the side of the new one to get it to slide into the holder, but once I got smooth sides, it went right in. Of course, I no longer have the retaining tabs, but I don't do much aerial work in it anyway, so I doubt it'll pop out! Now that I know how it works, I can do it strictly by feel, but I don't really want to ... |
