I have a 92 Metro Convertible and I am going to try to put a 91 swift GT front bumper and side skirts on it. I need to see what other parts I will need to make this mod work. What kind of problems should I expect? Thanks.

Front bumper and side skirts should be able to be installed without any problems. May have to also have the inner bumper mount if different from '91 and '92 (I'm unsure). Mounting the side skirts will require 6ea of the mounting clips and drilling 6 holes into the body to do it right.

Hi Steve

I think you will need the 91 foam backing for your 92 bumper
and for your side skirts it is nice if you have the steel rocker rail from the GT as well . :cheers

Steel rocker rail is nice, but will require welding to the car. All depends on how far you want to take the mod.

It helps the plastic from sagging and bowing .
Easy to mount drill 3 holes and use screws to mount . :cheers

If one can locate one tat's not ate up with rust, and successfully make the surgery over from the donor car. I attched mine with self-tappers the length of the rocker. Rail would be best though if doable.

Thanks for your help. Will I be able to retain the stock headlights with the GT bumper?

Yes
To specify, you can keep the geo headlights if you use the metro upper bumper cover. The gt upper bumper cover has the grill so you need to switch to a swift hood and headlights if you want to use it.
