Insuffient antifreeze solution mixture. Did you check it before winter time to see how low it was protected too?
Or inproper antifreeze. The antifreeze I buy is only good for 20 degree weather.
mine is rated for -60 up here
Can't even find the orange stuff in Florida. (Rated to -20 iirc) Which sucks. If I wanted to go North I'd have to somehow get better antifreeze before I attempted to drive anywhere. Plus, we have had a couple sub 20 degree days recently. All I have is the regular antifreeze.

I find it hard to believe you can't get standard green in Florida. I had all the same anti freeze in Hawaii as I have here in Washington.

another installment in this adventure....

My girlfriend was driving to work (again) and got hit in the driver's side fender/bumper at near 20 mph (this was in a parking lot). She was at a full stop waiting behind a vehicle who went in reverse and hit her; Now it won't start -_- are there any important electronics in that area that I need to investigate tomorrow?

I jumped it, started right up. How could an impact kill my battery? :hmm

Could have shaken the plates in the battery causing an internal current drain

We have standard green antifreeze, which is good to 20 degrees. But Florida dropped awfully close to that recently. I can't find the orange antifreeze which is rated to -20 degrees. That's what I said, not that I can't find antifreeze.

I will say that side does have important grounds. The valve cover has a ground that mounts to the upper portion of the bumper/radiator support. It shouldn't have anything to do with the battery, but it could cause a no start issue if it is torn.
