My passenger door leaks a little bit. Found out when taking it to a car wash and got that blue/green/pink wax stuff on my floor mats. Was wondering if anybody has replaced the seal before.

Is it easy to do or would I be better off sending the old girl to a shop to make sure I don't F it up.

By the way that green/blue/pink waxy crap stains floor mats :O

Are you sure that your door is closing tight enough to compress the gasket? B-)

Like stated above...unless the weatherstrip is torn or missing a piece more than likely the upper part of the door needs to be adjusted...by the way how good are the hinge pins?...any movement in the hinges?...

The seals are easy to replace. They are slip fitted without adhesive. Simply pull them off.

One thing you might try is to pull it off and wash it. Washing the rubbers always helps with a tighter seal. Especially on a Metro.
