I have a 1989 metro lsi. When I bought the car last fall, this connection was loose and I've looked around several times trying to find it's home but can't seem to find an empty socket. Anyone know by the wiring colors where this should plug in?

Looks kinda like the Intake air temperature sensor plug to me... Check the back side of the air cleaner for a plug... 2nd choice would be an EGR solenoid... Do you have a check engine light? |

Thanks for the responses. There's already a connection in the back of the air cleaner, so it's not that one. It's true that my car doesn't have an EGR - so if that's what the connection is for, it must be ok for it to just stay disconnected? |
