I need to know how realistic is would be to do a rebuild on my transmission. I know the syncros are going out. It is very hard to shift from 3rd down to 2nd and sometimes from 5th down to 4th. Anyone know how much a shop might charge for the work? |

complete bearing/syncro/seal kit with NO china parts from Cobra Transmission was $90. and I have to add, that there was a mix up in my kit. Cobra corrected it immediately, shipping replacement w/o any charge or hassle. GREAT customer care! Edited by sphenicie, Mar 2 2014, 08:19 AM.

Besides the syncros, what is there in the kit that can't be purchased at an industrial supply house?
