So, through the winter time my heater and temp. gauge has worked nicely. Yesterday on the way to work I noticed the temp gauge would not hardly move above the "C". The air coming out of the vents was warm-ish, not blazing hot like it normally should be. I popped off the radiator cap and put about a pint of antifreeze in it. That did not help the situation. I have not noticed any white smoke from the tail pipe nor is the motor oil milky. So here is my question, is my gauge broken or is my thermostat going south? I presume that if there were a restriction within the radiator, them my temp sensor would be pegged on the hot side of the gauge. Any thoughts???? |

While a pint is not a lot - you should not be losing any antifreeze. You will also need to track down your leak... |
