If you lift the car enough and remove rear bumper you should be good. |

SUCCESS!! Just installed the exhaust system: 1. Removed the rear sway-bar/stabilizer-bar (6 bolts) in about 4 minutes. 2. RePainted exhaust w/2,000 degree FlameProof header paint in about 10 minutes. 3. Removed the old exhaust & installed the new one in about 10 minutes. 4. ReInstalled the rear sway-bar in about 4 minutes. Entire job DONE in about a half-hour!

Car is running smooth & quiet! Total cost about $100. ($90 for the exhaust + $10 for the header paint) Did not need to remove the rear bumper, the coil spring, or the shock absorber. . . and did not need to cut either the old exhaust or the new one. From the catalytic converter rear-flange all the way back to the tip of the tailpipe, it came out and went in as one piece. Edited by orfeo, Apr 10 2014, 01:27 PM.

Its been a few weeks, are you still happy with this exhaust? How does it look and sound? How was the fitment? I am considering replacing mine and for $90, I might just do it... |

Yea, I ordered the same thing for my 93 2door. I found this unit to have too large of hanger nobs for standard hanger rubbers. Had to cut them off -they are solid stainless. (extra 30 mins.) Add to that, paint needs to settle, so I painted one night and let cure overnight. Ready to lower the control arm and install the one piece unit........stand bye for updates........ |
