The headlights on my 2000 metro are dim to the point of being scary. Polished the lenses until crystal clear, but still poor lumens. The voltage to low beam is 12.5V both sides. This is the same at idle or 2500 rpm. Strange thing is headlights off, DRL's have identical voltage? Any idea what voltage should be? Any quick and dirty tricks for aiming? I was thinking sheet of plywood at 25 feet? |

Thanks. Found out there is a spirit level on each headlight for vertical adjustment. What a great idea. Lights were dim because aiming 15' in front of car. Super sagged front springs. |

Guy in another post had a similar problem that turned out to be a lot of corrosion on neg battery conector. He had to remove it to see it. |
