53 mpg last trip

Reminds me of the famous Penske L-88 Corvette that raced at Daytona in the 60's. During the night portion of the race, it had gotten its front end smashed ( but was still driveable ) and lost its headlights. The rules said all cars had to have lights, so Penske's team taped flashlights onto the top of the front fenders.

did anyone ever notice the little red bulb they glued to the hood to give the flashlight a red tint to the beam of light?

its right in front of the flashlight lens.

maybe he has his passenger run along side of the car and tilt the flashlight downward or tun it off?
maybe he hooked up a cable from the hood latch or something that pulls the light downward?
he thought this far into it, i bet he has an answer huh?
definetly would not be bright lighting anyone anytime soon.
