Here's a short video lol
What's that white stuff coming down? :D
Haha unfortunately it's snow. :p gotta love Canada ! It was 2 degrees today though :)

Because it was so warm out today, I started cleaning all the major ground connections and mounts. Pretty straight forward. I took a reading before cleaning, and as I often pay attention to the battery voltage, it was near 13.7/13.8 volts right at idle, so ~980 rpm. After cleaning the grounds, I got nice reading of 14.5 volts and all the way up to 14.64 volts at idle.

I was thinking that I've read here that cleaning grounds is important, but isn't cleaning positive connections equally important?

Raised my drivers seat up again, did it properly this time though, (besides welding in extensions) I made 1" plates with two bolt holes. Put the bolt through the plate to the seat and then the factory bolt to the frame. Much stronger and safer then some of the diys I've seen here lol

Good bye sunken driving!

My '95 has the thickest seat I've seen in a Geo Metro Firefly. If they hadn't made the ceiling higher starting that year, I'd be swapping in the seats from my 'vert to get head clearance. I'd assumed that all '95+ would be that way, unless maybe the seat was completely worn out.

I'm exactly 6 feet tall which means I hit my head against the roof every time a pothole or large bump appears, it gets irritating reeaal fast :x But I can hide stuff from my significant other in plain sight cuz she can't see it (too short) so its a 50/50 situation :D

a good 6' 1"/188cm. Long torso. Have found a few (Japanese) cars I don't fit in. I've always fit in my Geos though. Heck, it's probably the only car I've owned that I don't put the seat all the way back.

Yeah so for tall people, they can fit in the geos. For a less then average person such as myself, I like a little extra height. Lol

I had someone that's 6'6" in my car the other day! :O
I put the seat all the way back and then reclined it a bit...
Poor passenger still didn't look very happy...
:lol Knees almost banging into the dash...
Sorry, dude, I tried... :dunno

Oh! Wait, we're kind of hijacking!

...we now return you to your regularly scheduled Rust Bucket!

Lol we now return to your (my) regular programming. Haha

I went to the wrecker the other day and got an arm rest out of a black cobalt to match the black interior. Spent the morning modding and installing it. Here are some pics

I had wanted to put washers to spread the pressure, but I didn't have long enough bolts to make it work and I was too lazy to care lol

I used to own a Chevrolet Cobalt, what an awful car that was. You should consider getting an armrest out of a 1993ish Honda civic. They come in black and fit like a glove, more comfortable and more space too. I love the one in my 00 swift.

Yeah I looked and I couldn't really find any. So I went with this, and I've already gone to all the work in putting it in lol it's here for good.

I liked this better than the neon center console. I like the fold up and storage. How strong is this? Something that would last me a week or more? :rofl

My buddy has a cobalt and it's stupid stupid fast. I've never driven or been in a regular run cobalt but those rare production SS ones are sick and fast, then even faster after some tuning.
