![]() follow the diagram the main relay powers up the fuel pump relay fuse 1 powers up the main relay the fuel pump relay only runs a few seconds during key on , unless the engine is running or it runs during starter operation key on if the injector has B+ on either pin when probed using T pin (see T pin article in this forum ) then the main relay is powering up and fuse 1 is "ok" also either pin of the IGN coil should show 12v positive when the key is in the "on" position if yes then if the CMP sensor , the pickup in the distributor does not work or is broken or if the distributor is not turning (broken timing belt ) then Mr ECM does not know it should generate an IGT signal or run the fuel pump or open the injector because Mr ECM would be thinking the engine is not turning Edited by mwebb, Apr 24 2014, 10:41 PM.

Thanks for the chart I went yesterday and gave it a try electrical problems I am the worst at, as far as I can tell power is only going to one of the pins into the coil. It is the newer coil with the two wires at he top three on the bottom. When I turn the key just before it should crank the fuel pump doesn't come on as it should to prime the system. Power is going to the fuse for the fuel pump that is in the box beside the battery beside the two relays. Power is going from one of the 4 wires that go to the main relay. I've changed the box and the relays no luck this is turning out to be a nightmare. Any more ideas ? Please Thanks |
