Here's another chapter in Operation WTF...

Today I was under the hood, pulling some leaves and cleaning a little, for some reason I happened to take this fuse cover off.... and I found this....

its been like this at least 4 or 5 years.... that's how long I have had it and I never noticed it.

what needs to be done to fix/replace this?

EDIT: before anyone says anything, that crap between the 30a and 15a fuse has been taken out. i am not sure what it was, looks like maybe part of the broken one that the person "fixed"

That used to be a 70 amp fuse,Napa has an 80 amp to replace it BK 7822034 You have to remove two 10 mm bolt below it to remove.

Looks like the main 70 amp fuse...has two 10mm bolts holding it in on both sides...should be replaced...should be available at the local parts house...

Got it out, went to get Applebees and stopped to Advance Auto. They had one 80a fuse remaining however it was an open package. SO I got it half price, since I know the manager... $1.80 & no tax (Delaware). Honestly the easiest & cheapest thing I have ever fixed. Thanks guys!

HAHA! Thats about what mine looked like, too. Only no fancy wire wrapped around it. The things people do to avoid removing two bolts. :shake
