Grease and oil (even WD-40) get sticky when cold. Dry lubes like graphite or moly powder don't. |

well i forgot to go buy some graphite powder this weekend to "lube" up the speedo cable but i did go an a parts scavenger hunt at autozone and the local PnP ![]() So my newest project for the Geo is to get the washer fluid system back up & Running (Hasn't Worked since we had the car) so i went and picked up a new washer fluid bottle & pump since the original one has a hole in it and picked up a couple gallons of washer fluid so we should be back to sprayin soon ![]() i also bought a Rain-x windshield cleaner, ive never used on before so we'll see how that goes i also went and picked up a can of caliper cleaner & Paint to add that "performance" braking to the car i also picked up an extra hatch dome lamp to do the rudolph dual light mod so i got myself a few little mods to get done so im excited ![]() |

I ordered MOOG lower control arms for my wife's Metro, and they are a far better product than the Dorman's that I had originally put on the car. I laid both brands down and compared them, and the MOOG's are made much better in my opinion. I will definitely be buying MOOG products again. |

Sorry, I didn't think about taking a picture before I installed them. The only thing that makes the Dorman's a little better deal, is that "IF" you could find the replaceable ball joint, then I would buy them for the simple fact I would not have to remove the rusty bolts from the frame. |

Can't help you on those, as the only ones I have ever bought came from Auto Zone, and the boots are cracking 4 years later. I'm betting someone will chime in on the CV's for you. |

rub the CV axle boots with o-ring grease and this will keep them from getting cracked over time |
