ok so i have been tellin people bout my little 97 metro and been feelin pretty confident with it... until today... ive only had the car about MAYBE goin on 2 weeks? and it was doin just fine well over the past id say week it has developed a VERY minimal kimda sput... it doesnt lower the rpms or anything just little sputs, well it LOOKS like the head has been replaced becuz theres new gaskets and he head looks pretty damn clean compared to the valve cover... so id assume they would of replaced things down in there to keep it from burnin oil... it sure doesnt leak any i know that for a fact... but it does have a smell to it... idk what the smell is but it isnt that good smellin lol my lezus sc300 smells too BUT it doesnt burn oil... so im kinda like what the heck made the metro do this? im just concerned... if its burnin oil itll b sold... if not im keepin it... but i dont have money to fix a vehicle lol im just 16... so hell lol i dont have a job makin money buyin an sellin vehicles but id honestly like to keep this metro its a big go cart in my eyes and there isnt any rust... literally... so i know thats hard to find... :/ i know there is a hole poked in the converter? I GUESS thats what that is thats sitting like right in the middle of the car... i guess they poked a hole cuz its clogged? some air still gets back to the muffler cuz i feel it... so? i dont think its fjlly clogged... um im typin this with a phone so prob a lot of typos but yeh tryn help me out guys!!! thanks |

White smoke is usually rhe sign of coolant getting into the combustion chamber and ive heard rare cases that brake fluid as well will, although ive never seen it personally. Check your coolant level over a small period of time and see if its using any. |

Yes, coolant will eventually damage everything and seize the engine up. My Red Rose is currently parked due to coolant leaking into the engine. The engine is trashed. |

Does your oil have a creamy or milky appearance? Check your oil. If so, you need a head gasket ASAP. Conor |
