i was taking out my interior from some watery fun, and by my e-brake i found these under the carpet. the were not hooked to anything, furthering my curiosity....

anyone know what these are for? there is nothing anywhere near there to be hooked to. maybe some thing mine didnt have? power seats? im drawing a blank on this one..

any help would be nice. i just wanna know what they are for.

Sir Metrologist

They not for your application. Leave them be. DO NOT HOOK THEM TOGETHER!
One is for the light on the gear selector, the other is for the ignition lock on an automatic. IIRC.

Good bye

It is simpler to build just one harness and cover all options. My 91 has speaker wires, defroster and rear wiper wires in the hatch, and it has none of these options.

Just my $.02...I used the power side of the connector for an acc. port in the back trunk area I ran a switch and wires when I had the carpet out...
