I just finished rebuilding my 97 Geo G10 engine. All is back together and running but now I have a charging issue. There is a wire that comes out from the drives side firewall with a clip connector on it. I am not sure where it connects to. it looks like it connects to a bolt like a ground. Thanks |

It can only stretch so far so it will have a connection within its length. Find a missing bolt, a clean fitting that it would cover or a missing connection. You could flip through How To: Pull a G10 and see if you see your wire. It would be nice if you could post a picture of it.

if the clip end is black, and its about 12"-16" its probably the distributor ground. wire runs from bolt under distributor through a black connection and attaches to ground at the ignition coil. |

Thank you, I am sure that's it. I even labeled it distributor but didn't remember where it connected to. I thought I took pictures of everything. That didn't come out in any pictures. |
