Thanks for the vote on "Jack Reacher'. Saw it on my recent business trip. Good movie but afterwards I was like "hey, that didn't make sense, and this didn't make sense, and . . ." Still fun.

Take my advice on the other two Tom Cruise movies as well. You will not be sorry...

Fastest Hampster EVER

Bad Words (Jason Bateman)

40 year old dude gets into the national spelling bee and almost wins. He has issues with a father that he never knew and wants some revenge. Kinda weird to see 10 year old kids swearing like seasoned sailors.

I give it a 4/10. Not a bad flick to pass the time, though.

Thanks. I did already see Oblivion - it was decent. Will have to try the 3rd movie next.

We were in the process of watching a movie today but fell asleep. It wasn't that the movie was boring it was just that we were lazy. I don't need to see the entire thing in order to give my short review of it. Very strange! (I like strange movies - not sure how this one is going to turn out but it hasn't been the best movie in the world so far):

Immortal (2004) - Not to be confused with a movie I reviewed yesterday Immortals (2014)

Need for Speed - I played video games the whole time, couldn't get into it and the cars (to me) were stupid. Not very Need for Speed-y. However, my wife fell in love with it and was shouting at the screen in a few scenes. She got particularly attached to one of the characters who had some unfortunate events occur.

4/10 for me. 10/10 for her, best thing since sex.

.... However, I don't really 'do' that kind of movie.
Bet you'd "do" Zoe Saldana.

Something about wooded area and a high temperature? I do not have that either.

Watched The Counselor this morning. Was a pretty good movie. I had heard people say it sucked and people say it was great so I put off watching it for quite a while. If you watch it, make sure you listen closely to all the dialog. It is not an action movie.

I would not watch the trailer if you are going to see the movie any time soon...

Tron- Awesome sound track, would watch again.

Captain America 2- Overall interesting, worth the watch. Good action.

Divergent - A bit more love story, on a creepy level at that, than I could handle. Still pretty interesting. Would watch again.

Catching Fire - Love these movies. Worth the watch.

Watched a few turkeys lately -

Monster - Not the best movie in the world...

Runner Runner - Crappy version of the Boiler Room

A Fantastic Fear of Everything - I usually like Simon Pegg movies. This one was OK but not up to his normal stuff. Kind of fell apart towards the end but the first half was memorable.

Cypher - Waste of time

i've been waiting for the second half of the first 'atlas shrugged' movie. they had the first part on netflix for a long time.

for you guys who dropped watching 'breaking bad' after 3 or 4 episodes, those were just setting things up. about the middle of the first season it started getting crazier and then just kept going. ;)

I watched Nonstop just the other day. It was pretty good. They tried a little too hard with the twists, but it was worth a watch.
