I watched Braveheart this morning in honor of the vote today. It was as good today as it was almost 20 years ago:

In honor of the vote I watched Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: Scottish Independence

John Oliver's comment on Braveheart starts at :40.

Now if you want something that rivals "After Earth - This was painful to watch. I just kept looking at the clock and telling myself it would be over soon..." try watching Beloved (1998) with Oprah Winfrey, Danny Glover, Yada Beener.
The hint we didn't get was 172 min. :die That's 2 hours and 52 minutes or 2.866666667 hours for those of you on the metric system. ;)
Hey, try it, you might like it. :dunno

Transcendence was okay. I'm not really sure which way the plot twist was suppose to go, the ending felt like they had no direction. 6/10. Could watch again and maybe gain more insight.

Was it a continuation of AS2? I was wondering what happened after the plane crash. Does this movie explain that?

Different cast of actors but the same characters because I saw a trailer and I didn't recognize anybody. But, then again, I saw AS2 a couple of years ago.

Yes, it is a continuation of part 1 and part 2. Yes it explains what happened and yes most of the characters have new actors portraying them.

Red Dawn: Very unbelievable, but entertaining.

SPOILER (VERY LIGHT SPOILER)

Josh Hutch...Peeta carries a SAW, one handed at one point, and even runs and guns with it! PFFT.

I thought the original Red Dawn was a great movie and the remake was horrible. I feel sorry for people who only saw the remake and missed out on the great stories from the first one.

The Quiet Ones

Typical "scary" movie. Quite for 5 minutes, loud noise. Rinse and repeat for the entirety of the movie. Fortunately it was a free Redbox rental. 3/10.

Watched X-Men: Days of Future Past tonight. If you liked the other X-Men you will like this one. Definitely leaves the door open for 100's of other X-Men movies:

OD'd on movies on my flight back from Italy.

Another vote for 'Edge of Tomorrow' with Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. Way fun.
Going to have to find this used for the home collection.

Not a movie but I have been watching the Showtime series Ray Donovan. I'm on EP10 right now and will finish up SE01 today. Pretty good stuff. Reminds me of the Sopranos.

Just watched Munich. It was OK but not sure it was worth the 3 hours.

I watched this with my wife and some friends recently, I had already seen it though. I would give it a solid 7/10. Very easy to get lost in and enjoy. It is definitely another Wolverine movie, and I like that. Quick Silver is awesome too.
