Monuments men - Sucked big time. 2/10 George Clooney, Matt Damon, John Goodman.
Don't even waste Redbox money on this turd. I thought with all of the stars it would have some redeemingness. It felt like five mini movies in one big movie and none of them connected.

That's the second time I've heard some one say that.
Now I have to see it just to make sure it's bad.

Enemy - WOW, I'll have to watch it another 5 times to figure out what was really going on. Yes, I liked weird ones.

Cabin in the woods - Yes, good movie.

Jack Ryan, Shadow Recruit

Chris Pine did a good job playing Jack. 8/10

Kinda cool to see a 160# guy drown a 383# dude in three inches of water. Although I am a purist when it comes to the continunity of characters, I think Pine stepped into a role which others had protrayed admirably. The movie was quick paced with bunches of techie stuff. The love interest thing was slow. No skin and very little bad language.

Gravity 3D - Dopey story but gorgeous to look at.
I see Gravity is highly rated. --- I didn't know there was a 3 D version . That explains why some people liked it. Without the 3 D I found the movie to be such drivel I couldn't make my way through it. Seriously, I have no idea how it ends and don't want to know. I jabbed my eyes out with a pencil and it was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Ok, rant over.

City of Joy-- One of my favorites. Not a fan of Patrick Swayze but he knocks this one out of the park.

I took your recommendation and just finished watching it. It was OK but I didn't think it was funny as hell. It is strange how someone will think a movie is great and someone else will not. Kind of the same way with music. There is a guy at work who has recommended movies to me for years. I've never enjoyed a single one (most get turned off after 15 minutes). It is a running joke at my house.
