Homefront - Everything you'd expect and nothing less or more. 6/10. Worth watching. Strong language and very violent though.
My wife is in love with Jason Statham and made me watch this the other day. I remember it being worth the watch.
Sounds just like my wife. Same reason we watched it. :popcorn

The Grand Budapest Hotel - Funny. Bill Murray makes it! - Leaves me wanting a Courtisan Au Chocolat - The director made a cooking video on how to make it on Youtube.

We were going to watch GBH last week but my wife wanted to watch 3 Minutes to Kill instead (can't remember if I reviewed it - it was good). No movies this week, getting ready to binge on Game of Thrones S04. I'll spend 30 minutes watching the "what happened last week" on each of the episodes from S03 before I start.

The Chronicals of Riddick Vin Diesel

10/10

Every time it is on, I'm drawn to it like a moth to a flame. Also all of the off shoots of this flick have a special place in my heart. Just great camera work, good story lines, and characters which have development.

Ok, I just found the Chronicles to watch online. I'm going to give it a try. If I don't like it I will hunt you down and, and, and... well, tell you I didn't like - maybe kinda loud and with a German accent.
Ok, going to movie now...

I don't believe she was in Homefront, if that is what you are talking about?

Also, on the Chronicles of Riddick. I suggest watching Pitch Black first.

Pitch Black
The Chronicles of Riddick
Riddick

It's a trilogy that makes Vin out as a complete bad ass, which I'm okay with. Solid 7/10. Slightly above average for me. As for SciFi movies of this type, 10/10. It's definitely good for what it is.

OK, thanks for putting them in order for me. I started Chronicles and fell asleep. No reflection on the movie, I was just tired. I liked what I saw so far. I will go to Pitch Black now and do them in order. thanks, I like sci fi and I liked the 'look' of Chronicles

It's a neat story. It has it's flaws though. But if you are a sci fi fan and can overlook them and just take the story at face value, you'll enjoy it.

Ha, I think if I am a Sci fi fan it must be assumed that I can overlook flaws- or there wouldn't be many movies to watch. ha
I am also a fan of martial arts movies- also the land of flawed but pretty good movies. Just watched Kill Bill and like it even more than last time
So, to get back to recommending movies - one without flaws.... The Seven Samurai

I didn't think I was a Vin Diesel fan but he was good in Pitch Black- thanks. Now on to the Chronicles...
Love Claudia Black from the Star Gate series. She was fantastic. Star Gate is of course not a movie but to me each episode was as good as most movies, better than a lot

Stargate was a movie first, then a series. reference
And I liked it.
But,
I believe both Kurt Russell and James Spader are good actors.
Speaking of;
Does anyone else watch
"The Black List" ?
I'm hooked. The premise is a little hard to believe, but, hey, it's t.v.
