Just spent two hours watching this:

Not sure why I watched the whole thing but I wish I hadn't. Surprisingly, there was very little nudity in the movie. I pulled this quote off IMDB:

I'm gonna booty-bang bitch slap your fucking ass until you're just this side of salvage. Then I'm gonna ram-ride girly's show tits asunder before I plow both of you bitches under!

I didn't think I was a Vin Diesel fan but he was good in Pitch Black- thanks. Now on to the Chronicles...
Love Claudia Black from the Star Gate series. She was fantastic. Star Gate is of course not a movie but to me each episode was as good as most movies, better than a lot
I think Claudia Black was better in Farscape.

But I also enjoyed her performance when SciFi network brought the cast of Farscape to Stargate and the fans unofficially dubbed it FarGate!

Never watched Farscape- will check that out too. Thanks, hey, I can't imagine Claudia Black being any better than in FarGate- looking forward to finding out.

Obligatory movie reference to continue thread- I'm sure everyone has seen it , but its also one of my favorites- The Usual Suspects

Also- Donnie Brasco

Saw HTTYD2 today and I have to say I'm disappointed. First movie was way better.

That is the beauty of starting this topic. Maybe we can all find a movie buddy who shares the same interests. I thought "Cabin in the Woods" was extremely unique. I cannot think of another movie that I have ever watched that was similar - not even close.

I think we need to start two separate groups. Those who think "The Hangover" was funny and those who don't.

Except EVERY horror film trope ever trotted out, that was the beauty of it. One of the most creative and enjoyable horror movies in a long time.

She is more kick ass and less conniving in Farscape. It takes a bit for Farscape to get it's footing, but once it's rolling it's a really good series.

No movies this week, getting ready to binge on Game of Thrones S04. I'll spend 30 minutes watching the "what happened last week" on each of the episodes from S03 before I start.

Just finished watching the final episode this morning. Was confused about the iron coin and had to research what the hell it was. Not sure how you are supposed to keep everything that happened for 40 episodes in your head.

Hey, this thread will never be about finding some single set of movies that are good or one person who knows all the good movies. We are all too individual for that to happen. Easier is picking the turds - although not by much. We all have our favorites in that pile too.

I watched more of the The Chronicles of Riddick but fell asleep again- again not a comment on the movie. I'm liking it. But I just painted a whole house yesterday and I was wiped.

Ok, I want to throw in a recommend each time I blabber. Trying to think of great movies that you may not have seen . Here is one that is another of my favorites and lots of people have not seen - but like when they do. Dream Keeper. About an old native american who is aging and goes on a quest with his grandson who is a troubled youth. Great movie

Alone in the Wilderness. 15/10

I added a link because it is so hard to find the entire documentary. This film is about a guy who lived in the Alaskan bush alone for an entire year. Built a cabin, fireplace, planted food, shot food, fished for food, and made everything by hand. I'm jonesing for that kind of lifestyle, but Mrs.Dayle1960 would kill me.

Have I reviewed "Blazing Saddles" yet? It's hilarious. I don't find it as funny as I used to...not sure why, but it's still funny. 8/10

"Spaceballs" Hilarious. Great. Wonderful. 9/10

It's not as funny now because the PC nazis have taken all of the slurs out of the flick. Try to get a non-edited version and you will laugh your rear end off.

I have it on VHS. I'm not sure why it's not as funny...

Oooh and "History of the World" equally as funny, if not funnier than Blazing Saddles.
