So this happened

My lights started being finicky and only turning on sometimes. You could bump the wires under the dash to get them back on, but thats no longer working either. They just wont come on at all.

How should I go about fixing this?

I had this problem; except my headlights had been replaced by the previous owner with aftermarket HID lights.

Apparently he had decided to cut the plugs that were for the original headlights. Then the HID lights had been hooked directly up to the battery with a relay. The relay was hooked up to the front auxiliary light for the switch. It took me awhile to figure all of this out because of the jumbled up mess of wires that accompanied this experiment.

I went to a salvage yard and bought some stock headlights with the plugs. Then I spliced the plugs into the old wiring for the original headlights. Next, I had to fix the plug inside the car because it had been clipped.

Yeah.... Real pain
