I have added a rear hatch w/the defrost to my 95 2 door-now I got the switch too & mounted it in the dash panel. I also am about to pick up another rear hatch w/defrost & rear wiper too from a loaded 95 LSI. Now for the defrost switch & rear wiper switch I see 2 plugs that could plug into each(one is green, the other is a white/clearish color-anyone know which plug goes to which switch? Also, what else do I need from the donor LSI car to make the rear wiper system work? Is there a different washer bottle & lines to the back, what about the wiring to the hatch? If anyone knows please let me know-I'd really appreciate it. |

Green is defroster, to the right of the dimmer knob. The clear-y white one should be the wiper controls, to the left of the dimmer knob. The job to install the rear wiper - and have it WORK - is huge. If your car doesn't already have the wiring for it... ![]() However! You have a 95! SOME 95s seemed to come from the factory with all the wires needed for the wiper, even if they didn't have one installed. YMMV. The washer bottle is kind of the same, kind of not? There is a second washer pump mounted in it. Molding-wise, it's the same bottle. You could get a second pump and modify your original bottle, OR switch bottles. Up to you. There is a line that goes to the back for the fluid. Hides under the carpet. It follows (is taped in to) the wiring harness that goes next to the driver's seat, up and over the fender well, etc etc. |
