Hmmm maybe a set in orange....
That might be interesting to do. I can get pretty creative with these. I can even add text and such in way that it will look stock.

I will work on what I want. I actually want "less" than stock. nice "clean" simple look is what I want. Another idea. Can you get more detailed with the layout? for example can you make it look like this.

ebay 310862242486

any suggestions on replacing the needles ??

The link didn't work, as for replacing the needles I'm not sure. It might be possible to find a set from another car that work. But that would be kind of trial and error

no. in the metro. I plan to switch to a mahogany wheel once I find a NOS grant wheel (the new ones look like shit) the antique look would be nice with wood accents.

:type Oh, ok. I guess roman numerals would be another option? Combine that with a stick shift and no worries of your car being stolen.

just a thought :hmm but why not drill a hole slightly larger than the center for the needles? then they could be slipped over the needles without taking them off. if the hole was close enough in size, probably not noticeable either. better for sales...now get some for 96 with no tach and we got a deal :)

Interesting idea. I thought maybe it would light the needle up more too.

I was thinking UV leds for back lighting and some glow paint on the dials. Maybe some cool black light designs that you only see at night? :whistle

If you did that the needles would glow way too bright. There is a light bulb right behind one of them. Also you cant take the stock gauge faces off without removing the needles. Black light would be cool though :rocker
