Is there a thread for random questions or should I just post them here? |

If it's something like... What... is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow? and What is your favorite color? Then this is a good place to ask them. This is your thread. Ask what you want. Some of your questions may have already been answered and you can search for them using key words in Google Advanced Search and type in the domain: http://geometroforum.com Some members have made a list and struck through them as they go, usually in a project thread. |

Here are some updated photos for the lovely folks of GMF. Take a look at the OEM driver side mirror delete plate. Enjoy! [Also, if anyone can answer any of the following questions... lol] I might also be buying a 1994 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 with the 8.0L V10, but I've already played with sub-10mpg so I'd definitely keep the Metro. How do I rewire the sockets for the flush head lamps? Do I just snip the wires and plug-and-play? How do I install [daytime] running lamps? Not required where I live, just extremely useful in small cars. What else can I take off the vehicle for weight savings? Anything unnecessary, even HVAC. What do I have to cover or remove in order to pressure wash the engine bay? If I just get the combination switch from a model that has it, can I plug-and-play install the intermittent wipers? How do I replace the window regulators? Do I have to remove the seat belt mechanisms? Can I install a convertible steering wheel without an airbag into a hatchback? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Really? I'm sorry. I have not seen this thread in a while, my apologies. Well, it is not the end of the world. DO NOT SELL! You can do it yourself over a weekend if that is all it needs. If not we have a lot of Seattle members who might be able to help. As a preface, I do not mean this to be an insult in any way, nor a doubt to your skills. So with that out of the way... How do you KNOW the head gasket blew? |

Well, I am not a mechanic by any means, but engines are simple enough to where when coolant and oil are spewing from the crack between the block and the head just above the exhaust manifold... Is that not the head gasket? lol |

![]() Do you have no interest in fixing it? I'm really far away from you (about 3 hours) but could always make a trip, sometime, to see what can be done. Or, brjsa lives up that-a-way... I don't know if he'd be inclined to help, but you could ask him about it - worst thing he can say is "no", eh? |
