Head gasket blew. Non-running car is for sale. Deal$ for GMF members!
We generally don't give up on these cars for simple things like flat tires, blown head gaskets, or cracked windshields. I would consider getting it fixed...

:(

Do you have no interest in fixing it?
I'm really far away from you (about 3 hours) but could always make a trip, sometime, to see what can be done.

Or, brjsa lives up that-a-way... I don't know if he'd be inclined to help, but you could ask him about it - worst thing he can say is "no", eh?

I dunno homies, I need a running car by...tomorrow. I also do not want to put much more money into this car, I always intended on owning it for a short time. If you're doing a head gasket, wouldn't you want to do the timing belt and water pump and them goodies?

Yah, maybe? :dunno
Would have to tear into it to find out.

I mean, how much do you want for the car?
(Not asking for myself, because unless it's free, I can't afford it... :lol )

Best price for a broken, non running car, $500. If you get more than that you did really well. I will be up that way this weekend on vacation and have a spare $500 cash I would give for it, even though it's going to cost me more to get it home.

Yeppers, going to Bellingham and Seattle and thereabouts. That reminds me, someone wanted to meet up the last time we ran out that way. Need to track down who that was...

Well, my time here wasn't long, but the forum provided much support. Thank you everyone! I picked up a 1998 Mercedes S320L. Back to the world of Benz!
