The Magnaflow is supposed to be Hi-flow, plus it is stainless. Thoughts? Experiences? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Magnaflow-Direct-Fit-Catalytic-Converter-PN-23654-/380947529594?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1995%7CMake%3AGeo%7CModel%3AMetro&vxp=mtr&hash=item58b23dff7a I can get it for $137 with free shipping |

I have the Magnaflow. Its mandrel bent and stainless steel. It hangs a bit lower than stock, so watch out if you have braces. I had to dremel the inner flange to get it to bolt to a Walker rez pipe. Overall I would do it again or get the Walker. |

I just replaced my whole system with Walker parts. They fit perfectly and work like they're supposed to. If you want it louder, there are other solutions galore here on the forum. |

Well, MagnaFlow does make that part and your $137 is a good price from the normal $162. http://www.magnaflow.com/02catalytic_converters/02product/displaydirectfit01.asp?catalogid=22420&directfit=23654 I have a Catco Cat. that I've had on for years and from Summit Racing I can get one for $99.97 with free shipping: http://www.summitracing.com/search/department/exhaust/year/1995/make/geo/model/metro?page=2 "Catalytic Converter, Stainless Steel, Chevy, Geo, Suzuki, Passenger Car, 51.250 in. Length, Each" It's 2" longer than the MagnaFlow, better check part numbers for your LSi before you buy. Best? Opinions, opinions.

If you ever want an interesting discussion here, ask what's the "best" motor oil to use, or antifreeze, or ... Anyone here can tell you what their experience has been with something, but it takes a true "expert" to tell you what is the "best" anything! Edited by perfesser, Jul 11 2014, 08:31 PM.

Which is why I really like the line: 'Once you open a can of worms, the only way to get all the worms back in the can is... get a bigger can.'

Ever notice that when you dig a hole and then fill it back up with the dirt you took out, you have more dirt than will fit in the hole?

Very welcome. For the future ALWAYs check advance auto prices with a coupon. Often times I can get parts as cheap as rockauto or ebay and pick up in the store. |

I just bought one of these http://www.ebay.ca/itm/190882146981?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Cats seem to be very expensive in the US. I think the last time I bought a Magnaflow, or Catco, I paid about $75 full retail. |

I thinking to get the Magnaflow direct fit catalytic converter from Advance auto parts. What about the muffler? If I purchase this two item it will be enough for new exhaust system or am i missing something? |
