A few months ago I removed the entire dash. I finally got it back together, the motor and tranny swap is complete and it runs good. All the gauges work, but no darn dash lites! :smackface The light for the Heat-A/C works and operates properly with the dimmer. I dont know if they worked prior to the dash removal and re-install.
Did I miss a ground somewhere? :news Is there a seperate fuse??

If they were working prior to your dash removal, it might just be a loose wire somewhere. That's where I would start.

Good news!
The fact that the A/C/Heat light is working means that your fuse is OK. There is only one for dash lights.
IIRC
The only dash light we have are the a/c/Heat controls, defrost switch, rear wiper switch, (not in your case :D ) the radio and the speedo cluster.

So from the sound of it, in your situation, it's just the cluster that's not working. I would start by unplugging the speedo cluster and then plugging it back in. Maybe one of the wires is not making a good connection.

Other than that, it's time to breakout the FSM and start chasing wires.
