Need help identifying 92 sensor grounds

My 92 Geometro has begun to sputter when warming up. After it warms up, it is sluggish. I cleaned the egr and replaced the pvc valve last Fall and this improved the running considerably. I haven't yet run a compression test.
The sputtering began a couple of months ago after I replaced the alternator belt, so this suggests to me that I may have accidentally disturbed a connection in the process. I have four pictures here of the engine and I'm trying to figure out what "sensor grounds" refer to so that I can clean them. I have the 92 wiring diagrams but I do not have a clue as to what the ground wires from the sensors look like and where they need to be cleaned. The images in Google were not specific and the info on this site, especially useful, is primarily in text.
I'd deeply appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you.

Follow the negative cable over to the transmission and remove that end of the negative cable and clean it good. The other important grounds are attached to the rear of the intake manifold. Unbolt them and clean them and reattach them. Do the compression test. Ever done a tuneup of spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, pcv valve, air filter and fuel filter?
